Candles and home fragrance

5 products at Sephora and Ulta, with when to buy each one and what we know about its value.

Before you shop: what the research says

Sephora sale. 5 of these are at Sephora. The Holiday Savings Event is reported at 20% off for Rouge from Oct 30, and 15% for VIB or 10% for Insider from Nov 3, through Nov 9. Most Sephora items here are a "buy at sale start": past events held one discount the whole way through. Sephora vs. Ulta ›
Worth waiting? None here has a history of clearly deeper discounts later.
Sellout risk. 3 are labeled limited edition. If you already know you want one, waiting saves little.
Value. 0 have been checked against the price of each item bought separately. The rest show the retailer's own value claim, which we do not treat as proof.
Timing for 0 of 5 comes from that brand's own sale history; the rest follow the retailer's pattern.
